Clitoris Anatomy Model. For many people, the clitoris is thought to be just a small sensitive nub at the top of the vulva. In truth, it’s only the tip of the iceberg of a marvelous and complex organ.

The visible part, known as the glans is about 3 – 10 mm (0.12 – 0.4 in) long, while the entire structure (including the internal part) measures around 12.5 – 18 cm (5 – 7 in). The clitoris is an intricate network of erectile tissue and nerves. It contains around 10,000 nerve endings — the highest number found in any human organ.

This Clitoris Anatomy Model was designed to be used by midwives, doulas, sex educators, and perinatal professionals, helping them to:

  • Explain the anatomy and structure of the clitoris
  • Discuss its role in sexual pleasure and reproductive health
  • Understand the function and sensitivity of the clitoris during childbirth and postpartum recovery

It is an excellent educational tool that naturally sparks conversation and makes it easy to introduce topics about anatomy in a friendly, hands-on way. Invite your clients or students to guess what the model represents — a simple exercise that often reveals how little we are taught about this powerful and vital part of the female body, while opening space for learning, respect, and body awareness.
